Types of student loans:

1. Public banks-
   Public Sector Banks or PSB’s, like SBI, offer low interest rates
2. Private banks-
   The good thing about private banks like HDFC and Axis is that they offer higher amounts of loans than PSB’s for unsecured loans
3. NBFC’s
   NBFC’s are a great option if you want to get an unsecured loan in a very short period of time

I think it's best to get one from a bank in the country where you're planning to study...
But it's only possible if you have a relative there
